Dear Writer,
Explore the question What is Self? through poetry, essay, story or song and share what you write with others.
There are three ways to share your What is Self? writing:
1) Submit a piece for the May 2009 What is Self? show.
Your work will be displayed in colorful binders that can be browsed and read by all participants. Please indicate in your submission the genre you are writing in. Include a short (one paragraph or less) bio and/or contact information if you would like people to be able to contact you regarding your writing.
All electronically submitted work will be included on the What is Self? website unless you specifically indicate otherwise. You retain all copyrights and your work can be taken off the site at your request at any time. This website is simply a sharing mechanism around a specific theme. There are no commercial purposes.
No novels please. Keep it short and sweet.

Submission Deadline: May 1st, 2009
2) Read (or sing) your piece at one (or all) of the Open Mics (5 min. max)
Friday, May 8 * 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 9 * 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 10 * 4:00 p.m.
3) Submit a piece for the What is Self? website.
